David L. Carr-Locke, MD, DRCOG, FRCP, FACG, FASGE

David L. Carr-Locke, MD, is the Chief of the Division of Digestive Diseases at Mount Sinai Beth Israel in New York City, and Professor of Medicine at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Carr-Locke is an internationally renowned gastroenterologist and an expert in using endoscopy to diagnose and treat gastrointestinal diseases. He is a worldwide educator in therapeutic endoscopy, and has studied and pioneered many of the treatment techniques used today.

Dr. Carr-Locke has maintained an active clinical research interest and has published more than 300 articles, book chapters, books and videos on many aspects of endoscopic management of gastrointestinal disease.

He is a Past-President of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE) and the International HepatoPancreatoBiliary Association. He was recipient of the ASGE’s Rudolf Schindler Award in 2007. He is currently on the Governing Council of the New York Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
